Cry9C - Secret / Attention

Cry9C makes industrial and EBM music that is about as traditional as an Amish person with a gaming rig. Wispy and ethereal, the two titular singles are beguiling in a way that completely subverts the clanking, pounding sounds of genre-staples such as Frontline Assembly. More at home echoing in the high-ceilings of a church than in the faux-leather of the modern goth club, Secrets / Attention is a testament to what artists can achieve when they are willing to move beyond standard genre conventions.
